The EDC Ness

Your new favorite pocket-sized problem solver. 🗡️⚙️

The Ness takes a legendary blade shape and trims it down into a sleek everyday carry knife built for real life. Opening packages, cutting cord, breaking down boxes, tackling shop tasks, or handling the endless parade of "can someone cut this?" moments... this blade stays ready.

Crafted from tough 1095 high carbon steel, the Ness delivers excellent edge retention and dependable cutting performance with that satisfying no-nonsense feel only high carbon steel can provide. The classic Nessmuk-inspired swept blade shape gives you a broad cutting edge that slices clean and controlled, making everyday tasks feel almost suspiciously easy.

The durable Cerakote finish adds corrosion resistance while giving the knife a clean tactical look that feels right at home clipped into jeans, riding in a work bag, or sitting on a desk next to a cup of coffee and a growing list of responsibilities.

Compact, comfortable, and easy to carry, this is the kind of knife that quietly becomes part of your daily routine. One day it's opening mail, the next it's trimming material in the garage, cutting zip ties, or helping with whatever chaos the day decided to throw at you.

The Ness doesn't scream for attention.
It just shows up, gets the job done, and looks good doing it. 🔥

Care and Maintenance

  • Initial preparation: Comes with a protective coat of food-safe mineral oil — wipe with a clean, dry cloth before first use.
  • Cleaning: After use, clean with warm water and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly to prevent surface oxidation. Avoid prolonged soaking.
  • Rust prevention: 1095 is a high-carbon steel and benefits from regular oiling. Apply a thin film of gun oil, mineral oil, or food-safe blade oil before storage or after exposure to moisture.
  • Sharpening: Maintain the edge with a medium-to-fine stone or guided system. 1095 takes a keen edge — use 400–1000 grit for repairs and 3000–8000 grit for finishing. Stropping restores a polished edge between sharpenings.
  • Storage: Store in a dry, ventilated area. For long-term storage, apply a protective oil coating to the blade and avoid sealed plastic containers that trap moisture.

All of our knives are named for cryptids, and this one's the most famous of them all. Loch Ness has been watched more closely than almost anywhere on Earth since the first modern sighting in 1933 — sonar sweeps, decades of photos, a monster that's never once been conclusively explained away. The EDC Ness trims a legendary shape down to pocket size. Just as hard to pin down, a lot easier to carry.
