The Big Foot

Heavy tracks. Solid grip. Zero nonsense. 🐾🗡️

The Big Foot is a hard-use blade built for people who like a knife that feels planted in the hand and ready for work. Broad, capable, and built with control in mind, this knife brings serious utility wrapped in a rugged design that looks like it wandered straight out of the timberline carrying its own firewood.

Forged from tough-as-legend 80CrV2 high carbon steel, the Big Foot delivers outstanding durability, edge stability, and impact resistance. This is steel made for real use, whether you're breaking down material in the shop, handling outdoor tasks, processing wood, or tackling everyday cutting jobs that would make thinner blades start questioning their career choices.

The standout feature is the wide blade profile, intentionally designed to give you extra control and comfort while working. The blade is broad enough for an easy pinch grip, allowing for precise handling during detailed cuts, carving, slicing, or controlled utility work. It feels secure, natural, and confidence-inspiring in the hand... like the knife equivalent of a firm handshake from something eight feet tall covered in hair.

Finished in a durable Cerakote coating, the blade shrugs off moisture, grime, and daily abuse while keeping a clean tactical appearance ready for work in the woods, garage, truck, or wherever your day gets interesting.

The Big Foot balances brute strength with fine control, making it equally at home handling demanding jobs or detailed cutting tasks. Big enough to work hard. Refined enough to work smart.

Some blades leave scratches.
This one leaves footprints. 🔥

Care and Maintenance

  • Initial preparation: Comes with a protective coat of food-safe mineral oil — wipe with a clean, dry cloth before first use.
  • Cleaning: After use, clean with warm water and mild detergent. Dry thoroughly to prevent surface oxidation. Avoid prolonged soaking.
  • Rust prevention: 80CrV2 is a high-carbon steel and benefits from regular oiling. Apply a thin film of gun oil, mineral oil, or food-safe blade oil before storage or after exposure to moisture.
  • Sharpening: Maintain the edge with a medium-to-fine stone or guided system. 80CrV2 takes a keen edge — use 400–1000 grit for repairs and 3000–8000 grit for finishing. Stropping restores a polished edge between sharpenings.
  • Storage: Store in a dry, ventilated area. For long-term storage, apply a protective oil coating to the blade and avoid sealed plastic containers that trap moisture.

All of our knives are named for Cryptids. Bigfoot is a legendary, human-like creature from North American folklore, most often described as a large, upright, ape-covered figure standing 7–10 feet tall and living in remote forests and mountainous regions. Stories of Bigfoot come from Indigenous oral traditions long before modern sightings, where the creature is often portrayed as a powerful, elusive guardian of the wilderness rather than a monster. In modern culture, Bigfoot represents mystery, self-reliance, and life off the beaten path—rarely seen, never flashy, and deeply tied to wild places.

As a name or symbol, Bigfoot evokes raw strength, endurance, and quiet confidence—the idea that something doesn't need to be proven loudly to be real.
